The Women’s Day Event held by ProBono.Org on 14 August, 2012 was tremendously successful — so much so that the attorneys as well as the organisation’s staff, including interns and volunteers, were all engaged in providing advice to the clients. Thanks to the gracious contribution of time provided by everyone involved, hundreds of women were able to gain access to legal advice that they may not otherwise have been able to seek due to their distressed economic position.
