Radio Today: Talking about gender rights and housing

Our guest was Tarisai Mugunyani. She is an attorney in the Land and Housing Unit at Lawyers for Human Rights in Pretoria. She was talking about gender rights and housing. LHR is providing assistance in matters involving large scale urban evictions, and the concomitant housing rights of the urban homeless. Gender discrimination in the awarding of housing rights during apartheid is perpetuated in the ULTRA programme. Tarisai has also worked at the International Criminal Tribunal of Rwanda.
